The visit to the Calafat karting turned out to be a unique experience for the Base Football team of l’Hospitalet de l’Infant. He emphasized the importance of complementary activities in the education of young athletes and highlighted the benefits of karting as a complementary activity to grassroots soccer.
Karting, although it may seem far removed from soccer, allowed young athletes to discover how these two disciplines can complement each other. The members of the Base Soccer team of l’Hospitalet de l’Infant had fun and enjoyed the thrill of the speed of go-karts. In addition, they learned to handle pressure situations and to collaborate as a team to achieve common goals.
The visit to Calafat karting was also an opportunity for the young athletes to learn about safety and the importance of respecting the rules. The karting staff gave them all the information they needed to drive the karts safely and constantly reminded them of the rules of the road on the track. The young athletes understood the responsibility involved in driving a vehicle and how their decisions can affect others on the track.
The experience of the young athletes at the Calafat karting was another example of how complementary activities can contribute to the comprehensive training of young athletes. Karting allowed them to experience new situations and learn important values such as respect, responsibility, solidarity and teamwork.
